Centred Solutions Strengthens Credentials with Appointments

Pharmacy dispensing automation specialists Centred Solutions has strengthened its team with two new key appointments as the business continues to go from strength to strength. Data expert, Daryl Crockett, joins the company as its Chief Information Officer while Paul Williamson joins as the new Product Manager.

Daryl will be a member of the executive team where she will use her vast experience in IT, software, and data to develop the business’ technical strategy and strengthen its infrastructure. She will also play a key role in standardising processes and protocols for the engineering and operational teams to drive efficiencies and will work closely with the sales and customer solutions teams to determine customers’ technical requirements.

Daryl brings with her decades of experience in supporting companies to scale their operations. She has significant experience owning and building software companies, including four start-ups. Having worked with Centred Solutions on their cyber security posture in a consulting capacity over the past 12 months, she already has an in-depth knowledge of the business.

“Centred Solutions is more than a pharmacy automation company, we are a technology company with a tremendous amount of opportunity in front of us. While the company is still in its infancy, it is growing rapidly, and I am looking forward to working with the team to set up and strengthen their critical processes, protocols and documentation,” explained Daryl.

“The company has seen significant growth in terms of its UK customer base in the past 12 months with a range of key players in the pharmacy market adopting our hub and spoke solutions. It’s a really exciting time to be joining the team as we look to support pharmacies in taking on more clinical roles,” she concluded.

Also joining Daryl at Centred Solutions is Paul Williamson who will take on the role as Product Manager. He will be responsible for defining the product strategy and roadmap for the UK. He will use his experience in sales and marketing to head up all product planning, development and delivery through the product lifecycle. Paul has extensive experience in the pharmacy industry having spent many years working for MTS Medication Technologies who were acquired by Omnicell.

“Our mission is to get all pharmacists and pharmacy staff out from behind the dispensary desk to spend more time on providing face to face patient care and services. I’m looking forward to working with the team to strengthen existing solutions and develop new ones that will allow them to do this. Pharmacists are highly trained clinicians who should be utilising what they’ve studied hard to learn and been trained to do,” said Paul.
